Q&A with LumaSense’s CEO Vivek Joshi

While much that’s sold by Silicon Valley companies is built elsewhere, six-year-old LumaSense Technologies has pursued a different path to profitability.
The privately held company makes most of what it sells at its Santa Clara headquarters. That includes thermal imaging cameras and other instruments that sense temperature variations and gas emissions to various industrial customers, who use the gear to reduce pollution and help their own equipment operate more efficiently.
